The Brown Nurses Ministry is the work of Our Lady's Nurses for the Poor. Brown Nurses is a public benevolent institution governed by a Board of Directors, in accordance with its Constitution as a company limited by guarantee.
Support is offered to our clients based on the social justice teaching of the Catholic Church which upholds the dignity of the individual and the right of every person to the fullness of life.
Brown Nurses is based at Glebe and provides in-home care to socially and economically disadvantaged individuals with complex needs. We are committed to offering holistic care, particularly by building trusting relationships and bringing hope and dignity to people who have no hope.
Our primary catchment area is the Sydney Local Government Area.
